Jasmine Townsend was in her apartment in Boston when she went on her computer and looked up Louisiana travel websites, mainly New Orleans. It was exciting and I love that the main heroine gets to experience all her sexual fantasies and become a member of a secret underground society for women! The next morning, I took a drive to over to Los Angeles for a day out. I first did some lingerie shopping at two of my favorite shops: Trashy Lingerie and Frederick’s of Hollywood. I feel confident when I have some new lingerie to wear; I even bought some boots while I was at Frederick’s. I then stopped for lunch at one of L.A.’s many food trucks and went to Sprinkles Cupcakes for dessert. Then, I went to the local farmer’s market for some very fresh fruit (strawberries, bananas, blueberries, raspberries, mangoes, passion fruit, oranges, limes, lemons, grapefruits, and peaches). To my readers and followers, I had been going through a personal and tragic loss in my life. My mom had passed away on Jan. 29, 2013, she had suffered from flu-like symptoms and was 56 years old. She worked so hard taking care of me and everything. My mom was buried on Feb. 5. I missed her ever since. I've been working on my stories, especially The Widow, while staying at my grandma's house and socializing with mom's friends and all the family members.
